The episode encourages listeners to seek support, journal their experiences, and recognize that they have the power to rise above their struggles, ultimately fostering a sense of community and shared understanding.
Show Notes
In a world that often feels chaotic and overwhelming, Heather shares an intimate look into their recent experiences with stress and challenges. They resonate deeply with listeners who may be feeling similarly, providing a comforting reminder that they are not alone. Heather reminds us of the importance of hope and resilience, encouraging those who may be struggling to recognise their inherent strength. By taking deliberate steps to alter their environment, such as connecting with nature or seeking new spaces to reflect, individuals can find clarity amidst the noise. This advice is not just about escaping one’s situation but also about fostering a mindset that welcomes growth and healing.
The conversation shifts to a more profound exploration of the ego's role during difficult times. Heather considers how our egos can become a source of stress, clinging to fear and familiar patterns that keep us stuck. They advocate for stepping back from these limiting beliefs and tapping into a more intuitive understanding of oneself. This shift in perspective allows listeners to confront their challenges with a new lens, one that is more aligned with their true selves rather than the fearful aspects of their ego. Practical tools, such as journaling, are suggested as effective methods for reflecting on past experiences, identifying patterns, and reinforcing one’s resilience.
As the episode concludes, Heather creates a sense of community, inviting listeners to reach out for help and support. She highlights the importance of collaboration and connection in overcoming personal challenges, fostering a welcoming atmosphere for sharing struggles and triumphs alike.
With a playful and engaging tone, the speaker wraps up with a call to action, encouraging listeners to not only reflect on their journeys but also to share their insights with others. Transcript
Hello and welcome to Friday Fundamentals.
Speaker A:This week has been a particularly stressful week for me.
Speaker A:And I know that, you know, there are lots of people out there who are stressed as well.
Speaker A:We're in very unusual times.
Speaker A:And I just wanted to take a moment to leave a message for those who may be struggling, especially if you're on your own and you maybe have been on your own for a while, I wanted to really offer you some hope.
Speaker A:I know it can be a challenge, especially when you're on your own and things are going wrong, real big things are going to seem to be going wrong, to get caught up in it all and think that there isn't a way out.
Speaker A:I just want to remind you how resilient you are, how much strength you have.
Speaker A:And I do believe we don't get challenges that we can't overcome.
Speaker A:And personally, I know that there are times when you think you just can't go on, you just can't.
Speaker A:You haven't got the strength or the energy that's being called for.
Speaker A:And it's in those times that it's really worth taking a step back, if in any way you can find some time and space for yourself.
Speaker A:And what I mean by that is, even if you're on your own, get out of your usual environment and take some time to just be with nature or just be in a coffee shop with a different energy and I journal or do whatever works for you to just be with what's there for you.
Speaker A:We so often, or rather I so often, can get caught up in the emotion, in the thoughts.
Speaker A:My mind is very, very busy.
Speaker A:But if we look at this time, if you look at it from a spiritual or evolutionary perspective, an evolution of consciousness, our egos are fighting with their last breath to keep us earthbound and in the doing, in the busy, in the fear, our ego is designed to keep us safe.
Speaker A:And with all of the chaos and energies around us right now, our egos are going a bit mental.
Speaker A:And if you can step back from that ego and recognize that that voice in your head that's causing you so much stress and anxiety is what's keeping you in the problem.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:I'm not saying that the problem will immediately disappear, but when you step back and you step into that different energy of your intuition and your true guidance from source, creator, goddess, whatever you want to call it, that's where the real wisdom comes from, and that's where.
Speaker A:Where you can put things in perspective.
Speaker A:So even though you're up against it, you have all the power.
Speaker A:Because at one level or another in terms of choices, energy, unconscious.
Speaker A:We kind of got here because it's something we needed to learn.
Speaker A:It's something that maybe we've been repeating a pattern.
Speaker A:And I know for me that's definitely what it is.
Speaker A:And it's time to overcome that pattern.
Speaker A:And the only way to do it sometimes is for everything to break down so you can rise up.
Speaker A:And I know that might sound harsh, but if you it's not dismissive in any way of what you're feeling.
Speaker A:You know, I've really had my moments over the last week, but it is about acknowledging that you are the only person that can really get you through this and you have all the help, all the resources you need as soon as you open to acknowledge them and then to receive them and to ask for help where you can.
Speaker A:I know that's been a huge block for me, but I'm asking for help.
Speaker A:I'm looking for help where I can right now, and I am focusing on getting through this in such a strong way that I can support others who are facing the same thing.
Speaker A:One of the ways is to journal.
Speaker A:To journal not just about thoughts that come up, but having some prompts that really help you acknowledge how strong you are.
Speaker A:Things you've overcome before.
Speaker A:I mean, if you take one journaling prompt today, just list five times where you thought you were never going to make it through five times in your life.
Speaker A:Five, you know, back against the wall times and notice what happened and how how you rose from that and created and moved forward.
Speaker A:And how you can take those elements of what you did then and apply them to perhaps where you are today.
Speaker A:I hope that helps.
Speaker A:Have an amazing Friday, have an amazing weekend and I'll see you on Monday.
Speaker A:For Monday motivation, please do like share.
