Hello and welcome to Tuesday Tip.
Speaker A:It's a bit later today and sorry about that.
Speaker A: the year strong and to begin: Speaker A:And one of the most powerful things you can do is a simple technique, but it's not necessarily easy, and that is to take some time and put it to one side, really get yourself a coffee, lock yourself in a room, put up that do not Disturb sign, make sure your socials are turned off, your phone's turned off, and spend the time writing two lists, probably four lists, if you're going to do one for business and one for your life.
Speaker A:And on those lists, the first thing you're going to do is write down all of the tasks that you have failed to complete and wanted to complete by the end of the year.
Speaker A:And that's everything.
Speaker A:So start with your life and then go into your business.
Speaker A:So even if it's clearing out your email box or if you're at home and it's clearing out the kitchen cupboard or that random drawer that has everything thrown in it, whatever it is.
Speaker A:But more importantly, it may be those things, such as conversations you haven't finished, apologies you might not have made, and that moves on to the second thing, which is clearing up our messes.
Speaker A:So things that we know that we've kind of made mistakes or really not quite sitting with us.
Speaker A:So situations, whether it's relationships, whether it's business relationships, where we just haven't cleared up our own mess, where maybe we've said something out of turn and we haven't come back to, to sort it out, or maybe it's your debt, you know, creating a plan for, for clearing any of your debts, or maybe it's something in your business where you've got a project that's hanging around that you just haven't finished off because you made a mistake, and maybe you're being fearful about going back and finishing it off.
Speaker A:It could be anything.
Speaker A:It could be family relationships that, you know, maybe you're feeling, you want to apologize for.
Speaker A:Even if, you know, one of the things for me that really comes up is sometimes it's about guilt about people who've had past and I feel there's kind of a mess or an incompleteness there.
Speaker A:How can I complete on that?
Speaker A:So maybe it's writing a letter to that person or going through some hipponopono or whatever it is for you that helps you complete.
Speaker A:And it's really powerful to do this exercise.
Speaker A:The main benefit is not for other people.
Speaker A:But it's the headspace you free up.
Speaker A:It's the baggage that you lose.
Speaker A:It's the clarity that you get on moving forward forward.
Speaker A:And it gives you that confidence because you're not carrying those unfinished parts around with you.
Speaker A:I hope this helped today.
